13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
Alright, let’s start with this. I sure hope you know when you used too much salt. Or when you accidentally used salt instead of sugar. It’s REALLY noticeable and seriously can’t be ignored no matter how much you try. As Christians, that’s how we should live. We need to be so full of Christ that it’s noticeable and unignoreable (I made that word up, btw).
Notice that part of the verse that says “…it is not longer good for anything.” I take that to mean if it’s not noticeable that we are part of Christ’s family, than we are not furthering the gospel and our testimony is…
