The Slain-Lamb Soul


Someone once said that humility is what you have but you can’t say that you have it. How true that is.

I never really understood humility till I began to search the Word of God and the teachings of some Spirit-men. In fact, God has been dealing with me on the subject of humility a lot lately and how this seemingly less important grace is what we ought to actually carry the most in our heart.

Christ is both described as a lion and as a lamb in the scriptures, but the discerning will recognise that while the lion refers to the physical power and attributes of Jesus, the underlying grace behind the lion is the lamb, the state of Christ’s soul. In fact, Christ is described as the slain-lamb. Deep down on the inside, Christ was as a lamb that was slain, dead. Yet the slain lamb is alive…
